I read SO MANY books. Even as a reader I think this is the most books I have read in one year in a long time so finding favorites was really rough. These are my standout reads and there are probably some missing but… it is what it is…
📘Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert
I read nearly all this author’s entire backlog this year and had to slow myself down so that I didn’t run out of her beautiful stories but I picked this one to talk about because a) newest full length release from her and b) bisexual heroine who never has to defend her sexuality and c) Zaf.
🥼Fatal Deception, by April Hunt
I already knew I loved suspense/ action romance but the pure competence porn of this made me happy. He worships the ground she walks on and just loves to watch her be smart and badass.
🏴 The Mackenzie and McBrides series by Jennifer Ashley 🏴
I had seen this all over Bookstagram and finally dived in… I have only two that I haven’t read and am so sad that I will be catching up to this awesome series.
⚽️ Only When Its Us, by Chloe Bergman
Honestly the whole Bergman Brothers series. These are representative, feminist, full of HEAs and just everything that is why I read romance.
🚌 Let It Shine, by Alyssa Cole
I had heard only good things about Ms. Cole but modern royals really aren’t my style… so when I found this novella I couldn’t skip it! Emotional and beautiful and historic lectures all over this tiny story! (I also love to use it to tempt new romance readers!)
🧛🏼♂️ Rebecca Zanetti
Just this whole author. Bookstagram made me do it. And I love it. And am now truly so obsessed with her work.
🖤 Lord of London Town, by Tillie Cole
Bookstagram made me read her anyway but I feel like this is my favorite of her work. Dark romance is a strange place to jump in to - but I ended up loving the dark.
🦃 Her Naughty Holiday, by Tiffany Reisz
I will never get over the epic speeches in this let alone the sex over thirty love story.
